Description

The product of the first distillation is called ylang-ylang extra and is commonly used in perfumery. Subsequent distillations possess a gradually lower quality. The third distillation still retains a fair amount of fragrance and is used in soaps and personal care products. It is a herb from the Far East. The name means flower of flowers. In Indonesia, it is customary to sprinkle the bride and groom’s bed with ylang ylang flowers, as a wish for a peaceful and fulfilling night.

WARNINGS: High dosages of y-lang y-lang essential oil may cause nausea or headaches.
